Fused glass is a process of layering several sheets of glass, embellishing with inclusions, frits, powders and metals then firing to a temperature of up to 840 degrees centigrade to create a solid piece. Sometimes my designs are fired several times to create the desired effects.
The process of kiln firing means that each finished piece is unique and although no two items are ever identical please be assured that a run of upstands will match perfectly in colour and any run of pattern is continued from one piece to the next ensuring uniformity of design.
